- Usually the free upgrades are only for the minor version rolls (.50 -> .52)
- and the major version rolls (4.0 -> 4.5 or 4.5 -> 5.0 or 4.0 -> 4.5).
- Release 5.0 should be good. I've got my order in. The upgrade price
- is good, and I hate giving money to Micro$oft if I can avoid it. 5.0
- also has licensed the Rouge Wave STL, which I am looking forward to. My C++
- users group had a presentation from a Rouge Wave programmer who had been on
- the STL committie for a while and new it very well. Besides, your upgrade
- price will still be less than the Micro$oft competative upgrade price.
